PHOTOS: Yobe APC rallies for Tinubu, counters ‘Tinubu Must Go’ slogan

The All Progressives Congress in Yobe State organized a solidarity rally in Damaturu to canvass support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. According to Punch and Daily Trust, the event mobilized thousands of supporters, including youths and women, to counter the opposition slogan "Tinubu Must Go." Daily Trust reports the rally was tagged "Tinubu Must Go Again, Cika Alkawari" and was held by the Tinubu Must Go Again Movement in collaboration with the Yobe State APC leadership.

The mobilization follows a protest in Potiskum on October 1, where hundreds of youths called for the President's removal due to economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment, and poor governance. Daily Trust notes that some Potiskum protesters carried African Democratic Congress flags and stated that the President's Independence Day broadcast failed to address their grievances.

During the Damaturu rally, participants marched through major streets to demonstrate support for Tinubu and the party's governorship candidate, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali. Daily Trust reports that Dr. Mohammed Goje, the Secretary to the Yobe State Government, led APC stakeholders and supporters during the solidarity walk.
