2027: 'Reveal how you built university as VP' - Tinubu dares Atiku

President Bola Tinubu, during a presidential campaign rally in Ikwerre, Rivers State, accused his opponent, Atiku Abubakar, of contributing to the hunger crisis in Nigeria. Tinubu challenged Atiku to disclose how he built a university while serving as the country's Vice President. He asserted that the funds and efforts used to establish the university were at the expense of Nigerians.

Tinubu stated, "To every salary earner, there is a dependent and somebody sharing the food at home, those people talking of hunger are talking about the mess they created. Atiku was one of them, ask him how he built a university while in office as Vice President in charge of our economy. Who built the university for him, it's your money, it's your effort."

The president characterized Atiku as a person lacking moral integrity and ethics for the position. Additionally, Tinubu praised Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, as a dedicated and hardworking development partner of his administration. He commended Wike's commitment to infrastructure development and encouraged the audience to thank him for his contributions to the nation.
