2027 election will determine your future, Tinubu tells youths

President Bola Tinubu implored Nigerian youths to actively engage in the 2027 general elections, emphasizing that the election's outcome would significantly shape their future. During a ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential rally in Rivers, the President urged the young audience to understand that the election was about them, not about him.

Tinubu stressed that the country's leadership and direction would ultimately be decided by their votes. He emphasized the importance of possessing a Permanent Voter Card (PVC), urging those who had registered but not yet collected their cards to visit the designated collection centers, stating that the PVC was a crucial tool for determining the country's leadership.

The President also addressed his administration's economic policies, asserting that economic development and prosperity distribution were vital to enhancing the living conditions of Nigerians, particularly the youth. He acknowledged the significant financial obligations inherited from previous administrations, including unpaid pensions and gratuities to retirees.

Tinubu explained that his administration was actively working to settle these outstanding debts, highlighting that billions and trillions of naira had accumulated before his term began. He emphasized that the government was committed to ensuring that more families benefited from economic opportunities and government policies.
