#SHOWBIZ: Bittersweet joy for Linda Rafar as son Rezaril weds without late brother Memen

KUALA LUMPUR: Linda Rafar, the singer and actress, expressed her emotional tribute to her late son, Rezaimen Keiflin Keifli, affectionately known as Memen, as her eldest surviving son, Rezaril Keifli, prepares to get married this weekend. In an Instagram post, Linda addressed Memen and mentioned that his younger brother, Aril, is getting married tomorrow. She expressed her certainty that Memen would have been delighted to witness the occasion.

Memen's mother, Linda, admitted that the upcoming wedding evoked mixed emotions as she was deeply saddened by the longing for the child she lost. She shared that if Memen were present, everything would feel complete. The couple would be busy joking around and celebrating their happy day together with the other siblings.

Memen, Linda's son from her first marriage, died in July 2014 at the age of 12 following a battle with a chronic abdominal tumour. Linda, who later married actor Syed Aiman in 2006 and has three sons with him, stated that she was trying to stay strong while proceeding with the wedding preparations, despite the pain of her late son's absence.

She hoped that the wedding would go smoothly and expressed her need for strength to handle the emotional days ahead. She added, "Mama misses you, Memen. I miss you so much." Rezaril, 26, will marry his fiancée, Nur Izzati Syafikah, known as Ika, in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, tomorrow.
