A recent social media post alluding to Hardik Pandya potentially joining Punjab Kings has sparked transfer speculation among cricket enthusiasts. An X account named PunjabKingsIpI shared a cryptic message, suggesting a new player might join the franchise, with Hardik's name being a point of discussion. The post stated, "Dekho… kaun aane wala hai. Punjab di shaan, nava tufaan! Hardik Shubkamnaye Iss Diwali," triggering rumours that Mumbai Indians all-rounder Hardik Pandya could be moving to Punjab Kings.
However, the account posting the message is not the official Punjab Kings X handle, and the post cannot be considered an official announcement. The X account @PunjabKingsIpI is not affiliated with the Punjab Kings official handle @PunjabKingsIPL. While the viral post has fueled speculation, the identity of the account and the nature of the post indicate it is not an official statement from Punjab Kings.
Although there have been reports of advanced discussions between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings regarding a possible trade involving Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh, as of November 6, 2026, neither team has officially confirmed the trade. Hence, claims that Hardik Pandya has already transferred to Punjab Kings are not confirmed.
