NNL: Akwa United ready for new season - Coach Offor

Akwa United head coach Paul Offor has expressed optimism for his team's upcoming season. He is confident in the qualities of the players he has recruited. The club will face Ekiti United in their opening fixture of the season at the Uyo Township Stadium on Sunday. Offor emphasized the importance of a positive start for his players in the new campaign.

The challenging pre-season has led to the recruitment of new players who he believes will help the team start the season on a high. Offor credited the new signings for helping the team find a solution to the issues that arose during the pre-season. He noted that goal scoring is a common problem in the country, and he addresses this by sharing the responsibility among his players.

Offor highlighted that the team will have strong right backs and midfielders capable of scoring, taking the pressure off the strikers.
