MultiChoice has discontinued the GOtv Stream mobile application, which allowed subscribers to watch selected television channels and catch-up programmes on their phones and tablets. The service, which was launched in Nigeria in December 2023, will no longer be available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. According to a notice on the GOtv Stream website, customers can continue enjoying their GOtv channels through their decoders.
The discontinuation of GOtv Stream is part of a series of changes to MultiChoice’s digital and subscription services following its acquisition by French media company Canal+.
