Galaxy SmartTag 3 hits Samsung online store as single tracker or four-pack

Samsung's newest generation of item trackers, the Galaxy SmartTag 3, is now available on its online store in two colors: white and black. The new tracker, announced last month, features a more compact design compared to its predecessors. It is smaller, more portable, and no longer includes a built-in loop.

Unlike its competitors, the Galaxy SmartTag 3 is compatible with Samsung's Galaxy Find network but not Google's larger Find My network. Consequently, it can only be tracked by Galaxy devices and iPhones, as the Samsung iOS app supports basic connectivity with the device.

The tracker comes with several useful features, such as routine activation, leave-behind alerts, and location history. It boasts a long-lasting battery, rated for 550 days of continuous use, and is resistant to water and dust, with an IP67 rating.

Samsung has introduced two color options for the SmartTag 3: white and black. Purchasing the tracker individually costs $29, while a bundle of four units – two white and two black – is available for $99. For those who prefer Google's Find My Device network, alternative options are available.
