Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026: Walk 3000 steps at Global Village and you could win a prize

The Global Village in Dubai has revived its Ozka Step Challenge for the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026, encouraging participants to walk 3,000 steps within 30 minutes. This marks the 10th edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, with Global Village turning its pavilion-lined pathways into a large step counter.

To participate, attendees simply need to open the Global Village app, activate the challenge, and aim to walk 3,000 steps within half an hour. Completing this task could earn them a free one-day pass to the Neon Galaxy X Challenge Zone, available until the end of the season.

Parents with young children won't be left out, as the Global Village team is hosting 30-minute dance workshops at the Kids' Theatre. These sessions allow youngsters to burn off energy and potentially improve their sleep quality.

This Ozka Step Challenge is part of Global Village's ongoing support for the Dubai Fitness Challenge, which was launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The citywide initiative encourages residents to dedicate 30 minutes of activity per day for 30 days. The Global Village's approach suggests that fitness can be enjoyable rather than a chore, simply by taking a longer route.
