APC, PDP activate Wike's Rainbow Coalition in Abia, inaugurates campaign council for Tinubu

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abia State has officially established its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) to back the re-election of President Bola Tinubu. This council includes members from other political parties, such as the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The PDP chairman of Abia State, Abraham Amah, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Inter-Party Mobilization committee for the PCC.

Former Abia State Governor and former ambassador to Spain, Okezie Ikpeazu, is also a part of the Abia APC presidential campaign council. Other members of the APC campaign team for President Tinubu consist of Raymond Aliga, Chinedum Elechi, Okey Ahiwe, Enyinnaya Appolos, and others. During the inauguration of the PCC in Umuahia on Thursday, Amah expressed his party's full support for President Tinubu's re-election, citing the president's achievements.

This move comes as some APC leaders in the state are expressing support for the re-election of the Labour Party's candidate, Alex Otti. Upon inquiry, Uche Aguoru, the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Abia State, confirmed the inclusion of opposition party members in the APC presidential campaign council.
