In a recent speech at the Arise Palm Resort in Akwa Ibom State, President Bola Tinubu mocked the presidential ambitions of Peter Obi, the candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). Tinubu, known for his sharp wit, compared Obi's brain unfavorably to that of Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno. The president praised Eno for his ability to manage the resort and his role as a unifier, stating that Obi lacks both the intellect and the vision that Eno embodies.
Tinubu also questioned the practicality of Obi's presidential ambitions, suggesting that a man who fled from flooding in Anambra should not aspire to lead the country. To the assembled leaders and the audience, Tinubu expressed his support for Eno's leadership and called for votes in the upcoming election scheduled for January 16, 2027.
