Only qualified CBT centres will host 2027 UTME — JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reaffirmed its dedication to conducting a credible, fair and secure 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). During a meeting with the leadership of the Chief External Examiners, JAMB Registrar Prof. Segun Aina indicated that only Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres meeting JAMB's prescribed standards will be accredited to host the examination.

This reaffirms the Board's commitment to upholding required standards for CBT centres across the country. JAMB emphasized that the accreditation process aims to ensure that only centres with necessary facilities and operational capacity are approved to conduct the examination. Candidates can expect a fair and secure place to sit the UTME, regardless of their location.

The Board's insistence on strict accreditation standards is expected to strengthen the integrity of the UTME and minimize challenges associated with the conduct of computer-based examinations.
