Only qualified CBT centres will host 2027 UTME — JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reiterated its dedication to ensuring a credible, fair, and secure 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This reaffirmation comes as the Board prepares to accredit Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres that meet its stringent standards. Prof. Segun Aina, the Registrar of JAMB, discussed the accreditation process during a meeting with the leadership of the Chief External Examiners, focusing on preparations for the upcoming UTME.

JAMB emphasized that only centres adhering to its defined standards will be granted accreditation to host the examination. This approach aims to guarantee a safe and reliable testing environment for all candidates, irrespective of their geographic location. By maintaining strict accreditation criteria, JAMB seeks to bolster the integrity of the UTME and mitigate potential issues associated with computer-based examinations. The Board's commitment to these standards is crucial for the successful execution of the 2027 UTME.
