iOS 27.3 is coming next month and is packed with new features, including some that make Apple One Premier more compelling than ever. more…
Next month, iOS 27.3 will be released, bringing a range of new features to Apple's ecosystem. Among these enhancements is a significant upgrade to Apple One Premier, making it even more attractive to loyal subscribers. Apple One, launched in 2019, has remained largely unchanged over the past seven years, offering a bundle of services that includes Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+. The Premier tier, in particular, adds Apple News+ and Fitness+ to the mix, alongside additional iCloud storage.
As an Apple One Premier subscriber since the service's inception, I have contemplated downgrading at times due to the lack of value in News+ and Fitness+. However, these services have improved greatly over the years, making Premier a more compelling choice for many, including myself. Apple News+ has evolved with daily puzzle games, food-focused content, and audio stories, while Apple Fitness+ has also seen improvements.
In iOS 27.3, Fitness+ subscribers will be able to set up a personalized Gym Strength program tailored to their individual needs. This feature is a significant addition, as it provides comprehensive strength training resources, including built-in video demonstrations. The ability to track progress within the app, along with Apple Watch integration, further enhances the user experience. Previously, Fitness+ lacked a robust strength plan, but iOS 27.3 has closed this gap, significantly boosting the appeal of the Premier tier.
Moreover, iOS 27.3 introduces new features for Apple Music and Apple TV that benefit all subscribers. As Apple prepares to launch the HomeView product and Apple Home accessories, the Premier tier's support for Apple Intelligence video summaries and clips through HomeKit Secure Video becomes increasingly valuable. In total, iOS 27.3 strengthens the Premier plan, making it a stronger offering than ever before.
