AEI Capital Group is bolstering its Asian footprint with a new Hong Kong headquarters and strategic partnerships across the region. The international alternative investment firm, based in Kuala Lumpur, has officially moved into a larger office at China Resources Building in Hong Kong's central business district. This expansion complements seven Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed with various institutional and corporate partners, covering investment development, growth equity, financial services and international commerce.

The new headquarters overlooks Victoria Harbour and is near major landmarks like The St Regis Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. AEI anticipates the office will serve as a hub for regional and international business engagements. The company maintains its existing offices in Singapore, London, Washington DC and Chengdu to support its Global Asset & Wealth Hub strategy in Hong Kong, while also preparing to establish an offshore hub in the Maldives.

AEI's chairman and CEO, John Tan, emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between Asian growth and global capital, highlighting that the challenge lies in pricing and liquidity rather than a shortage of capital. With seven strategic agreements in place, AEI aims to connect Asian businesses with investors, facilitate corporate partnerships and provide wealth management opportunities.
