Fat Joe Reps for NYC With Big Apple-Flavored Tiny Desk Concert Featuring Jadakiss & Remy Ma: Watch
Joey Crack is one of the rare artists to receive a second Tiny Desk.
Fat Joe returned to NPR for his second Tiny Desk Concert on Thursday, November 5th. Accompanied by Remy Ma, Jadakiss, and Stove God Cooks, the Bronx rapper paid tribute to New York City with a setlist spanning 30 years of hits. Starting with Remy Ma on "Cocababy," Fat Joe transitioned into "I Shot Ya" and "New York" by LL COOL J, invoking memories of his viral rant against Cam'ron.
The concert featured a lively arrangement of "The Aroma" with his collaborators, which appeared on Fat Joe's 2023 album Organized Rhyme. Stevie Mackey joined the backup singers for "Feelin A Way" and replaced J. Holiday on "I Won't Tell." Closing the concert with timeless tracks like "Lean Back" and "All the Way Up," Fat Joe expressed his gratitude to the Tiny Desk stage before concluding.
