Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has encouraged fans to continue supporting former tennis star Rafa Nadal despite the club's proposal for him to join the board of directors. Speaking after Real Madrid's victory over AEK Athens in the Champions League, Mourinho expressed his delight with Nadal's potential inclusion, praising it as a "fantastic" news.
He emphasized that he hopes the fans backing Nadal do not stop supporting him simply because he will now be part of the club's decision-making process. Nadal, a long-time fan of Madrid, is set to join the board, pending approval at the General Assembly on November 21.
