2027: Obi’s ally endorses Makinde’s presidential bid

Serah Ibrahim, a prominent figure within the Obidient Movement, has publicly endorsed Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde's presidential campaign ahead of the 2027 general election. This endorsement was made during the unveiling of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) presidential manifesto in Abuja on Wednesday. Ibrahim's surprise appearance at the event, given her previous association with former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, has raised questions among observers.

In a post on her X account, Ibrahim shared that she played an instrumental role in developing Makinde's policy manifesto, known as the Reset Agenda, and encouraged Nigerians to read and engage with the document focusing on the four pillars of the economy, security, education, and governance.
