Vingroup Partners With Legends Global to Operate Trong Dong Stadium

Hanoi, Vietnam - Vietnam's largest private conglomerate, Vingroup, and global events partner Legends Global have entered a strategic agreement to manage and operate VinFast - Trong Dong Stadium. This follows the stadium's scheduled inauguration on July 31, 2027, marking it as the world's largest venue by seating capacity.

Under this agreement, Vingroup and Legends Global will collaborate to position Trong Dong Stadium as a premier destination for world-class sporting, cultural, and entertainment events. Legends Global, with its extensive experience managing over 450 venues worldwide and hosting more than 20,000 major events, will oversee venue and facility management, vendor coordination, and on-site service operations. This will include ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and excellence.

Vingroup's Vice Chairman and CEO, Nguyen Viet Quang, emphasized the stadium's significance beyond sports. He envisioned it as a global gathering place for top sporting, cultural, and entertainment events. Legends Global's CEO, Dan Levy, called the project an extraordinary opportunity for Vietnam and Hanoi to position itself at the forefront of the global live events industry.

The stadium's unique design, inspired by Vietnam's cultural heritage, is set to be a landmark. With a planned capacity of 135,000 seats, it will also feature cutting-edge technology for safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. The surrounding complex includes training grounds, sports facilities, and various amenities.

This partnership is expected to transform VinFast - Trong Dong Stadium and the Hung Vuong International Sports Complex into a global destination, boosting Vietnam's sports economy and raising Hanoi's international profile. The collaboration will also enhance Vingroup's venue management capabilities.
