'Mujhe Thoda Disappoint Kiya': Sunil Lahri Aka OG Lakshman Criticises Ranbir Kapoor-Sai Pallavi's Ramayana Music Ahead Of Release – VIDEO

Renowned actor Sunil Lahri, famed for his portrayal of Lakshman in the famed television series Ramayan, has publicly voiced his dissatisfaction with the musical score of the forthcoming film Ramayana: Rise Of A Legend, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. The actor recently unveiled a video on social media, where he lamented certain aspects of the songs that have already been unveiled.

Lahri, who holds considerable respect in the entertainment industry, expressed his belief that Nitesh Tiwari, the director of the film, is a talented director with previous successful films under his belt. Lahri underscored the crucial role of music in a film, describing it as the backbone, providing essential emotional depth. However, he admitted that certain songs in this film left him somewhat underwhelmed.

The actor further elaborated on his viewpoint, stating that the music for Ramayana should be deeply rooted in the cultural essence of Ayodhya and mirror the local character of the narrative. He clarified that he is not a music expert but was merely sharing his personal opinion as an observer. He also stressed the importance of the film's success, given its potential impact on the livelihoods of many people associated with the project.

Lahri is not alone in his critique. Several other social media users have also expressed mixed reactions to the music of the film. The film is being composed by the acclaimed duo of Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman, with production handled by Namit Malhotra.
