Atiku arrives Sokoto for ADC presidential campaign flag-off

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has arrived in Sokoto State for the party's presidential campaign flag-off, according to Punch.

Senator Ibrahim Lamido, the Sokoto State Presidential Campaign Coordinator, stated that the campaign kick-off will take place on Wednesday at the ADC secretariat located at No. 1 Ilorin Road, Sokoto. Lamido noted that Atiku was scheduled to arrive at the Sultan Abubakar III International Airport by 9 am and invited supporters to meet him at the airport before proceeding to the campaign venue.

Daily Post Nigeria reports that the party initially kept the venue secret due to security concerns and allegations that it had been denied access to logistical support and public facilities. Additionally, Atiku accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Department of State Services (DSS) on Tuesday night of plotting to disrupt the inaugural ADC campaign.
