2027: NDC inaugurates presidential campaign council in Anambra

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Anambra State inaugurated its presidential campaign council on Wednesday, 8 March 2027, as it gears up for the 2027 general elections. The inauguration ceremony took place at the King David Hotel in Awka, the capital of Anambra State. The council's primary objective is to mobilize grassroots support, strengthen the party structures, and coordinate campaign activities across the state's 21 Local Government Areas.

NDC Chairman Ikem Uzoezie stated that the inauguration marks a significant milestone in the party's efforts to consolidate its presence and deepen grassroots engagement, ultimately aiming for a winning strategy in the upcoming elections. The council members, including the State Coordinator Dr. Ifeamyi Ibezi, expressed their excitement in working together to ensure a substantial vote for their party's presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and other NDC candidates in upcoming elections.
