This Chinese Android phone brand has launched a Harry Potter collab

Chinese phone brand realme has unveiled a Harry Potter-themed Android phone, the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition, marking their second collaboration with Warner Bros. This collectible device is intended to satisfy the desires of Harry Potter enthusiasts and novelty collectors. Released before HBO Max's upcoming television reboot, the smartphone combines adequate computing power with its unique design.

The realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is available in a distinctive "Magic Brown" color and features a leather-like finish, argyle pattern, and a golden Hogwarts crest in its center. The phone boasts a quadra light sensing color-changing technology that changes colors when exposed to UV light with each Hogwarts house crest illuminating in its respective color.

The phone comes with a range of collectible Harry Potter accessories, including a small leather suitcase with a golden Hogwarts crest, an acceptance letter, book list, train ticket, character postcards, house crest bookmarks, a crest pin for unlocking the magical earbuds, a protective case, charger, USB data cable, and a helpful guide. The phone's user interface has also been customized to resemble Warner Bros' films, with a Hogwarts castle wallpaper, a title card animation, and a custom Harry Potter fingerprint effect.

Despite its midrange price tag, the realme 16 Pro offers solid performance with 12GB of RAM and 254GB of ROM. Despite its thin size, the phone's 700mAh battery lasts for 22 hours of streaming. The device sports a 7000mAh battery with Bypass Charging to reduce overheating. The realme 16 Pro's camera suite includes a 200MP full-pixel LumaColor Camera, a 112-degree wide camera, and a 50MP selfie camera, supported by a Samsung HP5 1/1.56 inch sensor for higher resolution and brightness.

The 144Hz AMOLED display offers peak brightness of 6500nit and a 6.78-inch screen with a 94% screen-to-body ratio.
