Manchester United rally 2-0 to beat Roma: fightback can be 'start of something good' - Fernandes

Manchester United staged a remarkable comeback from 2-0 down to defeat Roma in the Champions League, staving off a nine-game winless streak, according to midfielder Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese player scored both of United's goals, with the second resulting from a penalty after a save from Roma's goalkeeper. The victory could mark the beginning of a positive change for the team and its supporters, who have long endured frustration over the club's struggles and the alleged tensions between Fernandes and manager Michael Carrick.

Carrick, who was restored to the lineup after being dropped following a poor performance against Como, defended his tactical decisions and reiterated his commitment to the club. The win not only secured United's place above the relegation zone but also provided a much-needed boost for the team and its fans.
