2027: PDP chairman predicts victory for party’s candidates

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdulrahman Mohammed, has expressed confidence that the party’s candidates will win all elective positions in the 2027 general elections, following the successful nomination of its candidates across the 36 states. The chairman gave the assurance during a meeting of the National Working Committee with state chairmen in Abuja, stressing that the party would adhere to its constitution and established procedures.

However, the PDP faces growing uncertainty over its political future and electoral prospects due to internal crises and divisions, as well as Nyesom Wike’s recent support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
