‘Young professionals partners in shaping future’

Doha, Qatar - The Qatari Lawyers Association (QLA) hosted the Young Professionals Forum on Friday with the aim of fostering collaboration among professional associations, promoting social responsibility, and highlighting the crucial role young people play in national development. The event took place under the patronage of Minister of Social Development and Family, H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, who was joined by officials, leaders of professional associations, experts, and academics.

Al Nuaimi emphasized that professional associations are key players in civil society, extending their roles beyond serving members and advancing their practices to contributing to societal development, disseminating knowledge, and championing responsibility and community involvement. The Ministry has consistently supported private associations and institutions, aiming to enhance their capabilities and societal impact, thereby solidifying their position as essential partners in achieving Qatar National Vision 2030.

Al Nuaimi stressed that joint endeavors among these associations are vital for utilizing the strengths and expertise of civil society, enabling the launch of impactful initiatives.

The Minister expressed her hope that the forum would facilitate greater engagement among young professionals and create numerous opportunities for cooperation and integration across diverse professional fields. She underscored that young people are integral to shaping the present and future, provided they are given the chance to learn, participate, propose initiatives, and take on responsibility.

Al Nuaimi stressed that empowering young individuals professionally involves more than just enhancing their skills and knowledge; it also requires providing them with the platform to refine their professional practices.
