Shuhaily returns to border agency, chairs strategic meeting
This comes despite home minister saying Shuhaily will return to the police force.
Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency (MCBA) director-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain has returned to his duties, chairing the agency's Commander's Call Meeting No. 3/2026 today. The meeting, held at the agency's entry points, focused on the 2027 operational plan, emphasizing strategic direction, operational readiness, and the effectiveness of border control and protection.
Shuhaily, who was serving under a cadre secondment arrangement, was returned to the police force by the Home Ministry following his arrest on September 28 for allegedly causing hurt to two police personnel at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
