Taipei-based actor Michael Yang has been labeled a "control freak" by his wife, model Chloe Qin, after she revealed he micromanages her daily routine. The issue came to light during a recent appearance on the Taiwanese variety show Dee Girls Talk. Yang, 40, even sported a label stating "control king" throughout the segment. Qin, 41, explained that her husband often interrupts her relaxation time and shower schedule.

She recounted an instance where he paused her from watching a drama, telling her it was already 10pm and she should shower. The model noted that 10pm was the latest she felt comfortable to catch another episode before bathing. When she attempted to continue watching, Yang would switch off the television, leaving her no choice but to comply with his timetable.

Yang defended his actions, stating that 10.30pm was the latest time one should shower. This comment left the studio audience and panelists stunned, with many questioning whether their household was being run like a boot camp. In an Instagram post, Yang remarked that while life can be flexible, rules are necessary for flexibility.

Public reactions were divided, with some defending his focus on discipline and others feeling his rules were intrusive into his wife's personal life. Yang and Qin married in 2012 and have an eight-month-old daughter, whose nickname is Xiao Xue Bao.
