Sentira Brings Claude’s AI to 10x Genomics’ Chromium Platform

10x Genomics launches Sentira Single Cell, an AI-powered cloud-based analysis tool for Chromium users. The platform aims to accelerate data analysis by leveraging Anthropic's Claude models, addressing the "last mile problem" of custom analysis code for unique experimental methods. With Sentira, what would have taken weeks could now take hours, benefiting both individual researchers and the scientific community at large.

Sentira is not a proprietary model but rather an application powered by Claude, which will help researchers ask dynamic questions about their data without needing to write complex analysis code.

The cost of Sentira is modest, with a credit-based pricing model through 10x Cloud Credit packs. Each agentic session costs approximately 12 credits, while a complete analysis requiring around 60 credits. At launch, users receive 100 promotional credits for their first Chromium dataset uploaded to Sentira Single Cell. The company emphasizes that while Sentira is accurate, users must still review and validate the results before publication.
