Sanjay Gupta’s wife defends ‘grieving’ daughter for showing middle finger to paparazzi

Sanjay Gupta's wife, Anuradha Lekhi Gupta, defended their 13-year-old daughter, Dalai Gupta, for showing the middle finger to paparazzi at her father's funeral. Gupta passed away at the age of 57 after suffering a fatal head injury from a fall at his Mumbai residence. His wife shared a statement through filmmaker Milap Zaveri on Instagram, stating that the family was deeply distressed by the sudden intrusion into their privacy during the grieving process.

Anuradha expressed regret for any hurt caused and requested the media to grant her children the privacy, compassion, and space they need to mourn their father's loss.
