PH dares all 4 MCA candidates in Melaka to debate

Pakatan Harapan (PH) has proposed open debates between their candidates and those of the Barisan Nasional's MCA party in Melaka's upcoming polls, expanding an initial challenge to just one constituency. Melaka PH deputy chairman Khoo Poay Tiong proposed that the debates be conducted in Bahasa Melayu to ensure understanding among the diverse resident population.

The proposed candidates are Low Chee Leong, Leng Chau Yen, Farzana Hayani Nasir, and Ginie Lim, all of whom are contesting PH seats. The debates could be held at a neutral venue agreed upon by both parties and mediated by an independent NGO. PH has also proposed debates involving the top leadership of both parties to discuss national policies affecting Melaka. Polling is scheduled for November 14, with early voting set for November 10.
