Paul Anka, David Foster & Barbara Mandrell Are Among 2026 Kennedy Center Honorees: Complete List
The 49th annual event will be held in December at Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, D.C.
Paul Anka, David Foster, Andy Garcia, David Mamet, and Barbara Mandrell have been named the 2026 Kennedy Center Honorees. Three of these honorees were born outside of the United States - Anka and Foster, both born in Canada, and Garcia, born in Cuba. Their ages range from Garcia, who is 70, to Anka, who is 85. In contrast to last year's announcement by President Donald Trump at a live press event, this year's honorees were revealed through a press release.
Trump's statement commended the artists for their significant contributions to American culture and their ability to inspire generations of audiences.
