'Over a million' abuse images found on phone of UK man who drugged, raped wife

A UK man in his 60s, whose identity is being protected, has been accused of drugging and raping his wife for over two decades. Prosecutors in Manchester, northwest England, revealed that the husband had over a million images and videos cataloging the abuse on his phone. These images and videos allegedly showed the husband and others raping his unconscious wife while he filmed himself and others committing the acts.

The prosecution argued that the husband invited strangers to their home and filmed himself and others raping his wife while she was unconscious. The man pleaded guilty to 60 sexual offenses against his wife, including administering a substance to stupefy or overpower her. Nine other men, aged between 28 and 70, are accused of conspiring to abuse the woman, including rape and sexual assault. Four of the men have already pleaded guilty to various offenses.
