Kano gov congratulates Sultan on 20th coronation anniversary

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, on the 20th anniversary of his coronation. In a congratulatory message issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Tofa, Yusuf lauded the Sultan for his impactful role in promoting Islamic values, fostering interfaith harmony, and encouraging dialogue among diverse groups.

He emphasized the Sultan's continuous guidance to the Muslim Ummah, which has contributed to peace, unity, and stability throughout the country. Yusuf prayed for the Sultan's continued good health, wisdom, and strength to carry out his service to Islam, the Muslim community, and the nation. He encouraged the celebration of this milestone as an opportunity to acknowledge the Sultan's contributions to religious leadership, national unity, and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.

Yusuf expressed hope for many more years of fruitful leadership from the Sultan, wishing for his reign to bring blessings, peace, and prosperity to Nigeria. The Sultan, who also serves as the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, marks his 20th year on the throne.
