Rev. Mrs. Josephine Ayetteh has likened the Holy Communion to a "life jacket" for Christians, emphasizing its role in providing spiritual strength, healing, and protection during challenging times. At the launch of her book, Life Jacket: The Significance and Power of the Holy Communion, held at Victory Bible Church in Awoshie, Accra, Ayetteh stressed that the Holy Communion should be viewed as a divine provision rather than a routine church activity.

The bread and wine in the Communion symbolize the body and blood of Jesus Christ, carrying profound spiritual significance. She explained that the Communion heals diseases, strengthens the spirit, breaks fear, restores fellowship, and keeps believers afloat when life tries to drown them. Ayetteh noted that many Christians participate in the Communion without fully grasping its meaning and importance, and urged them to treat it with faith and understanding.

The book draws from biblical teachings, particularly Matthew 26:26–28, and aims to deepen Christians' understanding of the Holy Communion and its spiritual benefits. Bishop Apiakai Tackie-Yarboi, the Founder and Presiding Bishop of the Victory Bible church, highlighted the importance of understanding the significance of the blood in the Christian faith, drawing parallels between the biblical Passover and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

He expressed hope that the book would bring deliverance and spiritual revelation to its readers, and commended Ayetteh for her dedication in writing the book.
