The Philadelphia 76ers are set to face the Chicago Bulls in an upcoming NBA game on Monday night. Both teams have been dealing with injuries, with Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, and LeBron James all missing time recently. Embiid, in particular, is listed as questionable for the Bulls game due to a right foot plantar fascia injury.
Embiid's injury status is still uncertain, as he missed the Sixers' most recent game against the Charlotte Hornets. Despite playing without Embiid and LeBron James, the Sixers managed a narrow 109-104 victory. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 38 points in the win.
When Embiid was last on the court for the Sixers, in their 98-93 NBA Cup win over the New York Knicks, he struggled with his shooting, finishing with just 10 points on 3-of-12 attempts. However, he made up for it with seven rebounds and seven assists. This season, Embiid averages 19.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game.
The Sixers have won all five games Embiid has played this season, going 5-0 with the big man on the court. However, given his injury status and recent shooting struggles, it remains unclear if Joel Embiid will suit up and play against the Bulls.
