“I’m asking myself why…” – Steve Nicol frustrated by one thing Iraola did in Liverpool defeat

Steve Nicol expressed frustration over a single tactical decision made by Andoni Iraola during Liverpool’s loss to Arsenal. The decisive moment came when Iraola substituted 19-year-old defender Noni Nyoni in the 60th minute, replacing him with Dominik Szoboszlai. The ex-Liverpool defender criticized this substitution, stating that he couldn't understand why Iraola opted to remove Nyoni instead of Wirtz or leave Mac Allister and Nyoni in their dominant midfield positions.

After Nyoni's withdrawal, Liverpool lost the impetus they had been wielding in the middle of the park, and the game took a turn for the worse.
