Here's one bit of good news for Mass Effect: modders are bringing the multiplayer mode to Mass Effect Legendary Edition
"Enemies still active, stay alert."
The Mass Effect 3 multiplayer mode, which was omitted from the Legendary Edition, will now return thanks to the efforts of the ME3Tweaks modding team. After three years of hard work, they have not only managed to bring the mode back but have also enhanced it significantly. ME3Tweaks modder Audemus explained that the remaster includes native features like controller support, HDR, UI improvements, reworked lighting, high-resolution textures, upgraded shaders, better networking, bug fixes, new game modes, and a stable format for future mod support.
The team is also introducing a new game mode called "Unified," which merges enemies from various factions, and allows players to join either the ME3Tweaks server or set up their own private servers. The modders, who previously revitalized the Pinnacle Station expansion - another DLC left out of the Legendary Edition, are scheduled to release the multiplayer mod on N7 Day.
This date also coincides with composer Sam Hulick's plan to release a re-scored version of the leaked Mass Effect Universe trailer.
