Former Alcaraz coach Ferrero to join Shelton's team

Ben Shelton, the American tennis player, has announced he will be adding Juan Carlos Ferrero to his coaching team. Ferrero, a former world number one and Alcaraz's mentor, will join Shelton's team for the upcoming season. Shelton, who recently reached his first Grand Slam final at the US Open, expressed excitement about the addition, stating it would be "huge" for the team.

He emphasized that Ferrero would be an addition, not a replacement. Ferrero, who guided Alcaraz to six Grand Slam titles, expressed his eagerness to work with both Shelton and his father, Bryan, an experienced player in his own right. Ferrero praised Ben's talent, power, and character, and expressed his excitement about contributing his experience to help Ben achieve his ambitions on the biggest stages.
