Former Senator Dino Melaye has dared President Bola Tinubu to a Quranic citation contest following the President's recent spiritual trip to Saudi Arabia for the Umrah pilgrimage, according to a post he made on his X account on Monday. Melaye stated he would be ready to challenge the President in such a contest upon his return from Saudi Arabia.
He wrote on his social media platform, "Now that Alhaji Bola Tinubu is in Umrah. Immediately he comes back, I challenge him to a Quranic citation competition with me. No one can mock God. SDM." The challenge follows details shared by the President's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, about Tinubu's spiritual activities in Saudi Arabia, including his visit to the Holy Ka'abah in Makkah.
