Clemens' McKenna Gobin selected E-N volleyball Player of the Week

Clemens Buffaloes volleyball standout McKenna Gobin was honored as E-N Volleyball Player of the Week. A senior middle blocker/outside hitter, Gobin led the Buffaloes to a five-set playoff victory over Johnson. Her impressive performance included 25 kills, 21 digs, five blocks, three aces, and seven assists. In addition to the E-N award, Brandeis' Cecily Alva led her team with 15 kills in a playoff sweep against Pieper, while Canyon Lake's Kylee Goff had a stellar game with 10 kills and four blocks in the team's sweep over Pleasanton.

Other notable performances came from Smithson Valley's Victoria Jaster, who had 22 kills, 13 digs, and two blocks in a four-set victory against Alamo Heights; Boerne's Bella Pettet, who contributed 14 kills, six aces, and nine digs in a four-set win against Seguin; and Floresville's Sabree Woelfler, who contributed 9 kills, 13 assists, 7 digs, 2 aces, and 2 blocks in the team's playoff sweep against Corpus Christi Moody.
