Charlotte Hornets jersey history No. 7 Dwayne Bacon 2017-2020
Dwayne Bacon played three seasons with the Charlotte Hornets after being acquired from the New Orleans Pelicans on the night of the 2017 NBA Draft.
The Charlotte Hornets traded for the draft rights to Dwayne Bacon in 2017, and the 6'6" shooting guard from Florida State earned a spot in the team's rotation upon his arrival. Over three seasons with the Hornets, Bacon averaged 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, one assist, and 0.4 steals in 16 minutes per game. After the 2019-2020 season, Bacon reunited with his former coach Steve Clifford on the Orlando Magic.
Despite his efforts, Bacon was unable to secure another NBA contract at 31 years old and currently plays abroad, recognized as one of the best active overseas players.
