BITS Pilani announces 100% tuition fee scholarships for top 1,000 BITSAT rankers from 2027: Eligibility explained

BITS Pilani will launch full tuition fee scholarships for students ranked in the top 1,000 in its entrance exam, BITSAT, starting from the 2027 admissions. The scholarship will cover all four years of undergraduate programs at BITS Pilani campuses, provided students maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or higher. Eligibility extends to families with an annual income of up to ₹20 lakh.

The initiative aims to eliminate financial barriers for top-performing students. BITS Pilani's Group Vice Chancellor, V Ramgopal Rao, announced the expansion, noting a 50% increase in admissions among top 500 BITSAT rankers and stronger enrollment among candidates ranked 501-1,000. The scholarship will apply automatically upon admission, eliminating the need for a separate application.
