ARMSX3 just cloned the PS3’s UI, and it even supports PS3 theme files
ARMSX3 now lets you use an XMB-based home screen that's ripped straight from the PS3.
ARMSX3, the leading PlayStation 3 emulator for Android, has unveiled its latest update, v1.6, which introduces a replica of the PS3's user interface, known as XMB Mode. This new feature allows users to enjoy the classic PlayStation 3 experience on their Android devices. The XMB Mode is accessible by accessing the side menu from the main home screen and selecting the option to enable it.
The interface faithfully recreates the original PS3's look and feel, complete with the same icons, words, fonts, and startup sound. Additionally, users with a downloaded PS3 firmware can even utilize PS3 theme files, further enhancing the authenticity of the experience. This update represents a significant step forward for ARMSX3, as it moves beyond simply emulating the PS3's firmware to offering a complete alternative home screen based on the original XMB interface.
