4 bold predictions for Bears vs. Seahawks

The Chicago Bears are set to play the Seattle Seahawks in a crucial Week 8 matchup, with playoff implications looming. The Bears, currently at 5-2, played well in their first game of the week, defeating the New England Patriots 30-24. They have brought in defensive star Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans, who is expected to make his debut on Monday Night Football. Here are four bold predictions for the upcoming game:

1. Wide receiver Rome Odunze will score his first touchdown of the season. Odunze, who has struggled to find the end zone recently, will have more opportunities to score in Seattle, where he last played nearly four years ago. Odunze's connection with quarterback Caleb Williams could also lead to more scoring chances.

2. Running back Zavier Scott will score a touchdown. Scott, who has been primarily used on special teams, has hinted at potentially starting on offense. The coach hinted that he could break into the rotation on offense during the media availability on Saturday. Scott's preseason performance with the Minnesota Vikings suggests he could surprise everyone with a big play.

3. Edge rusher Austin Booker will record multiple sacks. Booker will be tasked with tackling Seattle's backup left tackle Josh Jones, who has performed well in relief. With so much attention on Simmons, Booker will have the opportunity to pick off Seattle's top quarterback, Sam Darnold, who has been prone to turnovers.

4. Cornerback Jaylon Johnson will record his first interception of the season. Johnson has struggled this season, receiving heavy criticism from coaches and fans alike. However, he has some motivation to bounce back after being called out by his coaches during the last prime-time appearance. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba, one of the top receivers in the league, on the other side of the field, Johnson's first pick could be a big win for the Bears.
