2026 Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship: How to watch, what's at stake for 70-player field
Yas Links in Abu Dhabi is hosting a field this week that features Patrick Reed, Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm. Here's what's at stake and how to watch all four rounds.
The 2026 Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship, a key playoff event in the DP World Tour, is currently under way at Yas Links. The tournament features a field of 70 players competing for a $9 million prize pool. Rory McIlroy is leading the charge, seeking to defeat Spain's Eugenio Chacarra, who enters the competition as the top-ranked player in the Race to Dubai following a successful year marked by three DPWT wins.
Patrick Reed and Jon Rahm are also in the mix, both vying to reclaim their positions in the top 50 and secure a spot in the DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates, set for later this month. Former LIV Golfers Rahm and Hatton are making a comeback, marking their first competitive event since stepping away from the league.
Other past Aldar Championship winners in the field include Tommy Fleetwood and Aaron Rai, who will aim to defend their titles and climb the Race to Dubai rankings. The top 50 players in the Race to Dubai automatically qualify for the upcoming DP World Tour Championship, while the remaining players will vie for spots in the prestigious event.
The Golf Channel will provide live coverage of all four rounds of the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship starting Thursday, Nov. 5 at 2 a.m. ET.
