Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Atiku Abubakar, has harshly criticized President Bola Tinubu regarding Nigeria's deteriorating electricity situation. In a statement released by his media aide, Phrank Shuaibu, Atiku sternly declared that Tinubu's electricity excuses are insufficient to power even a single home in the nation.
He lamented that millions of homes and businesses continue to endure complete darkness, fed up with the Tinubu administration's constant stream of excuses and propaganda. Instead of addressing the power sector's issues, the Tinubu government has persistently offered flimsy justifications for its failure, even as electricity tariffs rise.
Atiku emphasized that the Tinubu administration should cease exploiting electricity as a political tool and provide a reliable power supply to the suffering Nigerian populace. "Your excuses cannot light a single home" - Atiku vehemently rebuked Tinubu over the ongoing blackout plaguing the country.
