Tinubu still committed to stable electricity — APC PCC

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC) has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu's commitment to providing stable and reliable electricity supply in Nigeria, despite ongoing challenges in the power sector. During a recent statement, Tinubu's spokesperson, Dele Alake, emphasized that the President has taken deliberate steps to address the issues, including the estimated billing problem, and promised to explain any failure to deliver before seeking re-election.

The APC PCC urged Nigerians to consider the full context of Tinubu's electricity pledge, including his commitment to explain any shortcomings, alongside the administration's record since 2023. While the power sector crisis remains unresolved, the PCC highlighted the President's consistent efforts to work towards delivering on his promise and pledged to tackle the challenges head-on.

Opposition figures, such as Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Seyi Makinde, have criticized Tinubu's administration for failing to deliver on the electricity promise ahead of the 2027 general elections.
