AC Milan secured a crucial victory over Inter, marking their fourth consecutive win in Serie A, during the Derby della Madonnina. Portuguese tactician Ruben Amorim acknowledged that while a Scudetto is a realistic goal, the club must remain realistic about the time required to achieve it. Amorim emphasized the team's mental toughness, particularly after their recent midweek fixture, and highlighted the focus displayed by his players early in the game.
While stars like Christian Pulisic, Luka Modric, and Adrien Rabiot received praise for their creative contributions, Amorim stressed the importance of the entire squad's effort, particularly the defensive contributions from recent standouts. The coach dismissed any signs of friction between himself and the players, stating that their hard work is the only requirement for him to maintain his support.
