Fountain of Life Church in Lagos welcomed a new addition to their congregation on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Senior Pastor Jimmy Odukoya introduced his wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to the congregation during the Sunday service at the church headquarters in Ilupeju. Prior to the announcement, the pastor had posted an image on Instagram of two hands with wedding rings, captioned "To New Beginnings," sparking speculation among followers about his marital status.
However, the truth emerged during the service when Odukoya led his new wife to the stage, receiving cheers from the congregation. Odukoya attributed his decision to find a wife after becoming pastor to biblical teachings, quoting from Genesis where Adam recognized his wife as "flesh of my flesh." The ceremony was blessed by General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare.
This is the first marriage for Pastor Odukoya, following a previous union with his ex-wife, Oluwakemi Banjoko, in 2013, who they separated from after having two children.
